HIGH SCHOOL TENNIS ROUNDUP : Burroughs Nets a Victory

Mike Tschebaum and Elan Cohen swept at Nos. 1 and 2 singles to lead Burroughs High to an 11-7 victory over Campbell Hall in a Southern Section Division III wild-card tennis match on Friday.

Damien 10, Notre Dame 8--Brad Klaustemeyer and Derek Bennett took two out of three sets but the Knights (10-7), who were third in the Mission League, couldn’t clear Damien in a Division II wild card match at the Claremont Club in Pomona.
Knight teammate Bret Williams won two of three sets, defeating Jason Flores, who is a ranked player.
