EAST LOS ANGELES : Hospital Offers Free Blood-Pressure Tests

White Memorial Medical Center will sponsor two free blood-pressure screening tests this month to mark National High Blood Pressure Month.
An estimated 50 million Americans suffer from high blood pressure, which contributes to heart disease, kidney problems and strokes.
The blood pressure screenings, hosted by the medical center’s Privilege Plus, a club for seniors, will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday and May 29 at the Privilege Plus Senior Resource Center, 1720 Cesar E. Chavez Ave.
