Conference Bookings Up: Conference bookings in Newport Beach were up 75% for the nine months ended March 31, according to the Newport Beach Conference & Visitors Bureau.
A total of 63 meetings were held in the city during that period, generating $5.2 million in revenue for area hotels, said Rosalind Williams, executive director of the bureau.
Separately, the organization said it will move its office to the Mariners Mile area, at 3300 W. Coast Highway, by next month. The new site will save the group 20% on its lease.
