LAKE FOREST : Victim of Fatal Crash Lived in Laguna Hills

Police identified the victim of a fatal car crash Sunday as Bette Trockman, 82, of Laguna Hills.
Trockman died of massive internal injuries after she suffered a stroke and drove into a tree, authorities said Monday.
She was leaving a restaurant in the 23600 block of El Toro Road about 2:20 p.m., according to Orange County Sheriff’s Lt. Rex Hatch. She was taken to Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center, where she died about 4 p.m.
