Ridley and Tony Scott Sign Disney Deal: The brothers’ joint company, Scott Free, entered into a multiple-picture directing and distribution agreement with Walt Disney Motion Pictures Group. Under the terms, Scott Free will deliver four to six films directed by either brother, to be distributed by Disney over the next four years. Foreign rights remain with Scott Free, with an announcement on international distribution plans expected soon. Tony Scott is the director of Disney’s current hit film, “Crimson Tide.” Ridley Scott, whose films include “Alien” and “Blade Runner,” is directing the coming “White Squall” for Disney.
