Bergen Brunswig Corp.: The Orange-based distributor of drugs and medical supplies said it is taking on a new role as logistics manager for all drugs and medical supplies ordered by longtime customer Baylor Health Care System in Dallas. Bergen will manage an electronic catalogue containing all the medical items Baylor orders for its hospital network.

Instead of playing the traditional distributor’s role of middleman between certain manufacturers and the hospital, Bergen will be a one-stop shop for Baylor and process all of its orders.
