Fidelity National Financial Inc: The Irvine insurance underwriter plans to acquire WTC Financial, the parent company of World Title Co., World Tax Service and Spatial Data Inc. Under terms of a tentative agreement, Fidelity would acquire all of WTC’s issued and outstanding stock through a stock exchange with WTC stockholders. Fidelity intends to fold its American Title operations into World Title. WTC Financial reported revenue of $44 million in 1994 and $55 million in 1993. Fidelity officials said the deal, expected to be closed by the end of May, would strengthen their network of direct title operations in California.
