Davstar Industries Ltd.: Shares of the Costa Mesa company rose 14% Thursday after the U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved the company’s DriStar incontinence product for women for sale directly to consumers. The company also said that Minnesota’s Department of Health Services placed the DriStar system on its list of products covered by the state’s medical insurance. Davstar stock rose 37.5 cents a share Wednesday to close at $3.125 a share in American Stock Exchange trading.
