Informix Corp. of Menlo Park, Calif., said its board approved a 2-for-1 common stock split, payable June 23 to shareholders of record June 9. . . . Stamford, Conn.-based Citizens Utilities Co. said it has an agreement to purchase about an 8% interest in Hungarian Telephone & Cable Corp. for an undisclosed price.
