Where Was Coverage of Landfill Protest?

Does the L.A. Times serve the Santa Clarita Valley? There was a demonstration against the world’s largest dump, which is being dumped on the Santa Clarita Valley, and your paper didn’t even mention it. This is a serious issue for us.
This proposed dump in the Elsmere Canyon affects our water supply, a wildlife corridor between the San Gabriel and Santa Susana Mountains and a pristine valley with waterfalls. It puts 24-hour traffic of 1,500 huge dump trucks on the 5 and 14 freeway connections between the San Fernando and Santa Clarita valleys. That is 3,000 round-trips daily, or more than one per minute on average. For commuters or travelers to the north or south, that could be a nightmare even without earthquakes. Why, you may not even get to Magic Mountain!
