Making Money in Mexico: “New Entrepreneurial Vision Tijuana ‘95,” a three-day conference promoting new ways of doing business in Mexico, will be held Thursday through Saturday at the Institute of the Americas on the University of California, San Diego campus. Supported by San Diego and Tijuana city officials and by corporations on both sides of the border, the conference will bring together about 1,000 entrepreneurs to discuss opportunities in the environment and technology, to see a business opportunities expo, to hear business leaders from as far away as Hong Kong talk about current economic conditions, and to tour several Tijuana manufacturing sites, including maquiladoras operated by Hyundai and Mattel. For more information, call the Institute of the Americas at (619) 453-5560.
