Update on Bloomie’s? Allen Questrom, chairman and chief executive of Federated Department Stores Inc., is expected to comment on merchandising plans for the Macy’s and Bullock’s chains during an address Tuesday in Los Angeles. Questrom, who engineered Federated’s acquisition of R.H. Macy & Co. last December, will be speaking to Fashion Group International, an apparel promotions group. Questrom may also be asked to comment on plans to establish Bloomingdale’s stores in the Southland. The company has already announced plans to build a Bloomingdale’s in Beverly Hills and is looking for sites in Orange County. Questrom speaks at 6:30 p.m. at 919 S. Grand Ave.
