Registration is being accepted for summer education classes offered through the Coastline Regional Occupation Program, which begins June 26.
The program, which provides training for careers, is part of the Huntington Beach Union High, Irvine Unified, Newport-Mesa Unified, Saddleback Valley Unified and Tustin Unified school districts.
Coastline Supt. Paul E. Snyder said the summer courses usually are taught over six weeks. Priority enrollment is given to high school students 16 and older and then to adults who live in the sponsoring school districts.
There is a $35 registration fee for each course. High school students may enroll at their respective schools. Adult registration will be from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. June 20 at the Coastline Regional Occupation Program office, 1001 Presidio Square, Costa Mesa.
Courses available during the summer include computer training, automotive occupations, cosmetology, culinary arts, dental radiology, electronic testing, grocery cashiering, health occupations and small-business ownership.
