Two men were killed Sunday in separate shootings, one in Arleta and the other in North Hills, Los Angeles police said.
The Arleta attack--about 5:45 p.m. in the 13500 block of Chase Street--apparently was gang-related, said Sgt. Daryl Russell of the LAPD’s Foothill Division.
The victim, a Latino man about 20 years old, was hit by multiple gunshots, then run over by the compact car from which the shots were fired, police said. Other details were not available, Russell said.
The other shooting occurred about 4:30 p.m. on Rayen Street between Orion and Langdon avenues, police said. No other details were available from the LAPD’s Devonshire Division.
