Don’t take the A Train, don’t leave the driving to Greyhound. Ride the COW.
That’s Cerritos on Wheels, a new shuttle service whose name celebrates the city’s agricultural past.
The COW meanders through central Cerritos--which 35 years ago was mostly dairy farms--linking two major shopping centers, the Cerritos Towne Center and Los Cerritos Center.
The van service, which began this week, is free for now, though it will cost a quarter a trip beginning in September.
