FULLERTON : City to Weigh Permits for Adult Businesses
- Share via
The city, which now prohibits adult-oriented businesses, will begin taking applications from entrepreneurs who want to open topless bars, X-rated movie houses and similar establishments.
Fullerton imposed a moratorium several months ago so that officials could study the existing regulations governing such businesses and devise stricter guidelines.
City Council members voted this week to accept applications for permits to open adult businesses when the ban expires in April.
Until then, council members said, they will adopt an ordinance regulating the operation of adult businesses.
Permits will be approved or denied by the city’s director of development services.
