Davstar Industries Ltd.: Shareholders of the Costa Mesa company have approved Davstar’s acquisition of Dacomed Corp., a Minneapolis health-care products company, and a corporate name change to Urohealth Inc. Davstar in December 1994 reported that it was buying Dacomed for about 5.2 million newly issued common shares in a transaction valued at $12.4 million. Dacomed specializes in medical products designed for the impotence and incontinence market, and has new products under development for male infertility testing. Davstar makes disposable urological products for hospitals, laboratories, nursing homes and the home health-care market.
