Jean Okada, who won Tuesday, is the only Orange County player to advance to the second round of the San Clemente Opportunity Classic.
The winner of the tournament advances to the Toshiba Tournament in La Costa.
Okada, of Santa Ana, beat Vanessa Rooks of Spring Valley, 6-1, 6-1. Jan Johnson of Irvine lost to Amanda Augustus of Palos Verdes, 6-2, 6-2. Michelle Bray of Laguna Beach defaulted to Mugette Ahn of Los Angeles.
