Boat Dealer Buys Property in Oxnard

Newport Boats, a boat retailer, has purchased a former auto dealership on El Rio Drive in Oxnard to establish a sales and service center.
The marine retailer paid $530,000 for the 8,000-square-foot facility just off the Ventura Freeway, according to Grubb & Ellis Co., which represented the seller, First Interstate Bank.
The one-acre property was formerly occupied by a Nissan dealership.
