ICU Medical Inc.: The San Clemente manufacturer of disposable medical devices posted profit of $890,000 for the second quarter ended June 30, up from the $783,000 figure in the comparable quarter a year ago. The company also posted record revenue for the second quarter, with sales of $5.96 million, up 55% from the $3.84 million reported for the same quarter last year. Six-month profits were $1.62, down from the half-year mark of $1.87 set in 1994, while six-month sales for this year were $11.39, up 42% from last year’s $8.02 million for the same period. Earnings per share increased to 12 cents per share in the second quarter, compared to 11 cents during the same period last year and 10 cents per share in the first quarter of 1995.
