Fluor Daniel Corp.: The Irvine company announced Tuesday that it has been awarded a $75-million contract by a subsidiary of Unocal Corp. to build three geothermal power plants in Indonesia. Fluor will provide engineering and equipment services to construct three 55-megawatt generators for a state-owned utility company 50 miles outside the capital of Jakarta. The project is expected to be completed in 1997. Earlier this year, the company landed a $1-billion joint venture with Duke Power Co. of Charlotte, N.C., to construct a power facility in Paiton, Indonesia.
