Andy Ray Vonch, 38, died July 19 after falling off a ladder at Hughes Aircraft in Malibu, where he worked as an electrician.
Vonch, an Oxnard resident since 1982, had served in the Navy for four years and enjoyed sports, fishing and camping, playing on his company softball team and bowling in the Wagon Wheel Bowl league in Oxnard, said his wife, Alice.
He was born in San Fernando and graduated from high school in Long Beach.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Kimberly of Oxnard; his parents, Robert and Jeannie Vonch of Lake Isabella; brothers Robert Vonch Jr. of Lake Isabella and Danny Vonch of Lake Havasu, and sisters Christine Adams of Washington, D.C., and Julie Howes of Long Beach.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Santa Clara Cemetery, Oxnard. James A. Reardon Mortuary of Oxnard is handling the arrangements.
