California Commercial Bankshares: The parent company of National Bank of Southern California in Newport Beach posted second quarter profits of $213,000, or 9 cents a share, up from the $13,000, or 1 cent a share, for the comparable 1994 period. Six-month net income increased 98% to $423,000, or 17 cents a share, from $214,000, or 9 cents a share. Total assets June 30 were $321.1 million, 4% lower than the $334 million record a year ago.
