Agoura : Hazardous Waste Collection Scheduled

A hazardous waste collection roundup has been set for Sept. 17 at the Calabasas Landfill.
The roundup will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the scale area at 5300 Lost Hills Road in Agoura.
The center will accept used motor oil, acid and lye-based cleaners, old paint, car batteries, pesticides and garden herbicides.
The collection is a cooperative effort involving the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works, county Sanitation District and the cities of Los Angeles, Calabasas, Agoura Hills, Hidden Hills, Malibu and Westlake Village.
