Man Shot to Death in San Clemente

SAN CLEMENTE — An 18-year-old San Clemente man died in the downtown area of the city Monday night after being shot three times, a spokesman for the Orange County Sheriff’s Department said.
Sheriff’s investigators late Monday had not released the name of the victim.
The man was shot about 8:30 p.m. near Ola Vista and Avenida del Mar, Lt. Jay Mendez said. No one else was hurt, and no arrests had been made.
