VENTURA : Man Found Dead Near Freeway Ramp

The body of a South Carolina man was found in a clump of trees beside a ramp onto California 33 on Thursday morning.
Steven Kay, 41, was found dead beside several broken bottles at 9:45 a.m. by two men walking near the site, the Ventura County coroner said.
Kay, who authorities said was a transient, probably died a day earlier of natural causes, the coroner said. There was no evidence of trauma or injury.
