South Bay : Body Found in Burning Car

The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the death of man found in a burning vehicle in Harbor City on Wednesday night.
According to South Bureau Homicide Detective Lou Leiker, firefighters were dispatched to Petroleum Avenue near 254th Street at 8:34 p.m. after residents reported a blue Hyundai engulfed in flames. Once the blaze was contained, fire officals saw the body of a man in the vehicle.
Leiker would not release the name of the victim until relatives have been notified. He said police are treating the case as a homicide
