June Henley and L.T. Levine each rushed for two touchdowns and more than 100 yards, including a pair of fourth-quarter sprints that halted Texas Christian’s comeback, and Kansas rolled past the Horned Frogs, 38-20, Thursday night at Lawrence, Kan.
Kansas, off to a 3-0 start for the first time since 1992, was led by Henley’s 160 yards and Levine’s 134.
TCU’s senior quarterback Max Knake passed for 383 yards and two touchdowns and erased Sammy Baugh’s school record with his 40th touchdown pass. His 41st went 11 yards to Ryan Tucker with 1:02 left.

A wake for Damon Terrell, the Arizona football player who died last week while recuperating in a Tucson hospital, will begin at 6 tonight at Harris and Ross Mortuary, 4601 S. Crenshaw, Los Angeles. A service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the First AME Church, 2270 S. Harvard, Los Angeles.
Terrell, a month shy of his 22nd birthday, played football and baseball at Serra High in Gardena and El Camino College in Torrance. He was projected to be Arizona’s starting tight end. He collapsed during a conditioning drill Aug. 10 and was recovering from the removal of a ruptured spleen when he died.
Arizona Coach Dick Tomey will miss Saturday’s game at Illinois to attend the Tomey said three of his assistant coaches--Duane Akina, Rich Ellerson and Larry MacDuff--will coach the team.
