BASEBALL / DAILY REPORT : ANGELS : Playoff Strips Sold Wednesday

Ticket strips for the Angels’ division playoff games will go on sale Wednesday at 10 a.m. A ticket strip consists of three games, Oct. 6-8, to be played at Anaheim Stadium if the Angels win the American League West title. If the Angels are the wild-card team, they will play two home games, Oct. 3 and 4. A refund would be given for the third game if only two were played.

On Wednesday, stadium gates will open at 6 a.m. Numbered wristbands will be given out at Gate 2 beginning at 7:30 a.m. with a random drawing at 9:30 to determine the order in which those eligible can buy tickets.

Prices will range from $30-$93. Each customer will be limited to eight strips.
