McKean Construction Co., a contractor that builds bridges and other major projects, has purchased a plant in Camarillo and will move there from its current headquarters in Ventura.
McKean will move into a 5,800-square-foot building on a two-acre site on Wood Road. The company is buying the property from W.M. Lyles, a Fresno-based construction company, for an undisclosed price.
McKean currently is building a freeway off-ramp and bridge at the Ventura Freeway and Carmen Drive in Camarillo.
The buyer and seller of the property were both represented by Crocker DiMeo Realty in Camarillo.
