Gordiouk Scores Twice in Ice Dogs’ 4-2 Victory

HOUSTON — Viktor Gordiouk had two goals and an assist as the Ice Dogs defeated the Houston Aeros, 4-2, Friday night in an International Hockey League game.
Ice Dog goalie David Littman stopped 18 of 20 shots. Houston led, 2-0, on goals by Vadim Slivchenko and Mike Maurice, but the Ice Dogs rallied to win their third road game in a row. The Aeros are winless in four games.
Dwayne Norris had the first goal for the Ice Dogs at the end of the first. Gordiouk scored a short-handed goal at 9:42 of the second to tie the score. Seven minutes later, John Byce scored the go-ahead goal on a power play before Gordiouk ended the scoring.
