Belen Garcia Becerra, a Piru homemaker, died of natural causes Thursday at Santa Paula Memorial Hospital. She was 45.
Becerra moved to Piru about a year ago from her hometown of Las Ranas, Mexico, in Michoacan state.
She is survived by her husband, Juan of Piru; a son, Efran of Piru; five daughters, Hortencia, Nancy and Maria Guadalupe, all of Piru, and Sandra and Christina Ibarra, both of Las Ranas; her parents, Carmen and Jesus Garcia of Las Ranas; five brothers, Jose Garcia of Mexico City, Ismael and Nicanor Garcia, both of Oregon, and Candelario and Sergio Garcia of Porterville, Calif.; and a sister, Maria Luisa Arredondo of Las Ranas.
Rosary is tentatively set for Tuesday. Services and burial will be held in Las Ranas.
