Crash Kills Woman, 84

GLENDALE — An 84-year-old woman was killed Wednesday when she drove her car into a power pole, police said.
Zerbe Phoebe drove into the pole at the corner of Glendale Avenue and Lexington Drive about 6 a.m., Sgt. Ed DeSario said. She died of her injuries about 4 p.m. at a local hospital.
