Lawmakers Who Crossed Party Lines

WASHINGTON — These are the House members who deserted their party’s position when the chamber voted 227-203 Thursday to approve the Republican seven-year balanced-budget plan:
Democrats who voted yes were G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery and Mike Parker of Mississippi and Pete Geren and Ralph M. Hall of Texas.
Republicans who voted no were Joe Scarborough of Florida; Ray LaHood of Illinois; Constance A. Morella of Maryland; Frank A. LoBiondo, H. James Saxton, Christopher H. Smith and Dick Zimmer of New Jersey; Sherwood Boehlert and John M. McHugh of New York, and Steven C. LaTourette of Ohio.
