Convertibles Sought for Use in City Parade

LA PALMA — The city is looking for a few good convertibles.
Their mission, Councilman Kenneth Blake said, will be to transport dignitaries in the Nov. 11 La Palma Days Parade.
“We need about 40 cars,” said Blake, who is in charge of that part of the project.
Each driver and the driver’s guest will get a free breakfast, and each driver will receive a pin commemorating the city’s 40th birthday.
