A 40-year-old Van Nuys man was booked on suspicion of murder Friday after his brain-dead wife died one day after he allegedly shot her, Los Angeles police said.
Sarkis Sarkisian was arrested Wednesday after shooting Dinna Gasamian during an argument, LAPD Detective Dan DeJarnette said.
Gasamian, 38, was declared brain dead, and Sarkisian was booked on suspicion of attempted murder. But after she died at Northridge Medical Center Thursday night, Sarkisian was rebooked on suspicion of murder. Authorities said Sarkisian would not say what the argument was about.
