Antelope Valley 36, Mt. San Jacinto 10--Shane Blakey rushed for 87 yards and two touchdowns in 11 carries to lead Antelope Valley to a Foothill Conference victory at Lancaster.
The Marauders (3-4, 2-3) scored early in the first quarter on an 80-yard opening drive that ended with Blakey’s 12-yard run.
Corey Grant added two second-half touchdowns on runs of four and two yards. He finished with 67 yards in 13 carries.
The Antelope Valley defense limited Mt. San Jacinto rushers to 94 yards. Cornerback Domino Gibson intercepted a pass that led to Sean Sharp’s two-yard touchdown run.
Mt. San Jacinto (1-6, 1-4) scored on a five-yard run by Todd Williams with 1:30 remaining.
