VENTURA : Symposium to Explore WWII Air Warfare

Model aircraft, music and memorabilia associated with the air war in the Pacific are part of a Ventura College symposium scheduled Friday to mark the 50th anniversary of the end of World War II.
Renowned Ojai photographer Horace Bristol, who chronicled the war in the Pacific for the Navy and later worked for Life magazine, will be honored.
The event is scheduled from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. in Guthrie Hall. Tickets are $15. For more information, call 654-6455; for reservations, 654-6459.
