Premiere Radio Networks Earnings Up 45% in Quarter

Premiere Radio Networks Inc., buoyed by its investments in radio programming and research services, reported a 45% increase in third-quarter earnings.
In the quarter that ended Sept. 30, the Sherman Oaks radio programming syndicator had a profit of $665,000, compared to net income of $459,000 a year earlier. Its revenue for the quarter rose 20%, to $5.65 million from $4.69 million.
Premiere’s nine-month profit was $2.05 million, a 12% gain from $1.83 million a year before. Its revenue totaled $15 million, up 12% from $13.5 million.
