Fluor Daniel Enters Acquisition Talks

IRVINE — In a move to expand its development-related services business, the chief operating unit of Fluor Corp. has entered into negotiations to acquire what the company called a substantial share of Groundwater Technology Inc. of Norwood, Mass.
Terms of the proposed deal between Groundwater and Fluor Daniel, the engineering, construction and development services arm of Fluor, were not disclosed.
Groundwater Technologies specializes in environmental consulting and the design of projects to correct environmental damages. The company has 1,400 employees throughout North America, Europe and Australia.
