CONEJO VALLEY : Artists Sought to Design Event Badge
- Share via
Organizers of the Conejo Valley Days have put out a call for artists to submit entries illustrating their 1996 theme: “Western Kicks in ’96.”
The winning entry will be used for badges that are sold during the spring event, which will be held April 24-28.
Judges will choose a winner on the basis of best use and illustration of theme, creativity and adaptability to a 2 1/4-inch, round bottom. The winning artist will receive a $150 prize and be a guest of honor in the Conejo Valley Days Parade.
Thousand Oaks resident Dorothy Albert submitted the winning theme, which was chosen by the Conejo Valley Days Committee from more than 100 entries.
Art entries, which must be received by Monday, should be sent to Conejo Valley Days, P.O. Box 4589, Thousand Oaks 91359.
