African American Arts Workshops for Youths

Two special free arts workshops for young people, presented by the Dance Collective and Jazzantiqua in the L.A. area on Saturday, will explore the work of African American artists and writers of the Harlem Renaissance.
“Collage, A Children’s Art Workshop,” for ages 7 to 12, will be presented at the Dance Collective, 4327 Degnan Blvd., from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
A “Youth Poetry Workshop,” for ages 13 to 17, will be presented at the World Stage, 4344 Degnan Blvd., from 1:30 to 3 p.m.
