A burglar broke through the outside wall of a Chili’s restaurant in Simi Valley and stole a safe containing about $10,000, police said Tuesday.
The burglary at the 25 W. Cochran St. restaurant occurred early Monday, police said. A restaurant manager found a hole in a brick wall next to an office that contained the safe and a computer, according to police, who said the computer was also missing.
The hole was apparently made with a hammer and saw. There were no injuries.
