Surgeon Honored by School Nurses Group

Dr. Samuel R. Rosenfeld, a pediatric orthopedic surgeon, has won the Orange County School Nurse Organization’s top honor, the Halo Award.
The citation is given annually to an individual or organization that has contributed to the health and welfare of county schoolchildren.
Rosenfeld, who is affiliated with Children’s Hospital of Orange County, regularly provides free consultation for school nurses who need advice on caring for students with cerebral palsy and other disabilities, according to the nurses’ organization.
