Happy Birthday, Boomers

Anational survey of the first batch of baby boomers--turning 50 this year--shows that 57% are unhappy with their career choices. But 65% are happy with their sex lives.

Happy birthday, boom babies. Here’s what else New Choices magazine learned:

* 81% view the coming years as holding new opportunities.

* 73% claim turning 50 does not faze them.

* 59% feel personally responsible for making the world a better place.

* 38% say the Vietnam War was the event that had the biggest impact on their lives.

* 38% say religion has become more important over the course of their lives.

* 31% cite “The Graduate” as the movie that influenced them most.

* 3% would chose to trade in their spouse.
