Still Kicking: After telling listeners for most of last year that he was going to quit, shock-jock-turned-best-selling-author Howard Stern announced on the air Tuesday that he has signed a five-year contract with Infinity Broadcasting to continue his syndicated morning talkfest. Stern, heard locally on KLSX-FM (97.1), offered this rationale for his decision: “I sat myself down and said, ‘What else am I going to do?’ ” Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
