Colleges / Campus scene : Across-the-Border Exchange Considered

A group of Rancho Santiago Community College District officials participating in an exchange program with two Mexican universities said the district may send English instructors to those schools.
In exchange, the universities would send teachers of Spanish literature, anthropology or native art to Rancho Santiago College.
Said Chancellor Vivian Blevins: “To ignore the fact that Mexico impacts us in very direct and important ways is irrational.”
