Forum to Help Parents Plan Children’s Future
- Share via
Parents who want to help their children plan their futures may attend tonight’s Parent Forum, sponsored by Saddleback Valley Unified School District.
Guidance counselors from the district and Saddleback College will answer questions and discuss topics such as how to set realistic goals, reading market trends and hot jobs for the 21st century.
The goal of the forum, said Carol Lerman, guidance specialist for the school district, is to give parents the tools they need to help their children prepare for careers after high school, whether they go to college, join the military or enter the work force.
The forum begins at 6:45 p.m. at the district office, 25631 Diseno Drive, Mission Viejo.
Information: (714) 580-3222.
