. . . Nobel Prize-winning neurophysiologist Sir Bernard Katz was the guest at a UC Irvine luncheon where colleague Ricardo Miledi, a UCI researcher, presented him with a California lottery ticket.
“I thought Sir Bernard should be introduced to our California life,” Miledi said. Katz won $4 from the gift ticket.
