Second Arrest Made in Fatal Shooting

Police have arrested a second suspect in the shooting death of a 23-year-old Garden Grove man whose body was set ablaze in a Seal Beach park March 3.
Son Hong Nguyen, 22, of Santa Ana was arrested at noon Tuesday at a gas station at Bristol Street and McFadden Avenue, where he was waiting for a friend to take him to the airport, Lt. Kenny Mollohan said.
Nguyen is the second suspect arrested in the slaying of Michael Vu. Thanh Van Quang, 21, of Huntington Beach was charged with murder Monday.
Police described all three men as members of a gang who were together when a dispute allegedly led to the shooting.
“Both of them thought that Vu was ripping them off,” Mollohan said of the suspects.
